This is a key annual event aimed at strengthening partnerships, sharing market information, reinforcing cooperation, providing market updates, and aligning on solutions for the sustainable development of the pangasius industry. The event also affirms the company's determination to usher IDI's export turnover into a new growth phase.
IMPRESSIVE BUSINESS PERFORMANCE
Amid a volatile global economic landscape, IDI has maintained a robust growth rate. In 2024, its consolidated revenue reached nearly VND 7,200 billion. In the first half of 2025, revenue amounted to nearly VND 3,500 billion, a 72% increase compared to the same period last year.
Furthermore, the results of the 19th Period of Review (POR19) in the U.S. confirmed that IDI is subject to a low anti-dumping duty rate, creating a sustainable competitive advantage in this key market.
MARKET CONTEXT AND OPPORTUNITIES
According to industry data, Vietnam's pangasius exports in the first six months of 2025 reached USD 1.023 billion (an 11% increase), with the U.S. and Brazil posting notable growth. However, challenges arise from new U.S. tax policies, creating cost pressure. This also presents an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to demonstrate their competitiveness through high product quality, transparent traceability, and a sustainable supply chain.
Mr. Le Van Canh - CEO of IDI, delivered a consistent message: “We do not walk ahead, nor do we walk behind—we always stand with our farmers, through both favorable and difficult times.”
