THE 1ST CONGRESS OF DELEGATES OF THE SAO MAI GROUP GRASSROOTS HO CHI MINH COMMUNIST YOUTH UNION, TERM 2025–2030

On the afternoon of November 24, 2025, at Sao Mai Binh Khanh Hall (Binh Duc Ward, An Giang), the Sao Mai Group Grassroots Union solemnly organized the 1st Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2025–2030.

The event was conducted in strict accordance with the Charter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the directive plan of the An Giang Provincial Youth Union, marking a new term with higher requirements for operational quality, the pioneering spirit, and the role of youth within the Group.

The Congress was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Sao Mai Group Party Committee, along with 65 delegates from 5 affiliated branch unions. This is the core force contributing to creating youthful vigor and positive energy throughout the system.

The spirit of seriousness – responsibility – proactiveness of Sao Mai youth

The Congress was thoroughly prepared in all aspects: organization, personnel, documents, reports, and soliciting opinions from union members. All adhered strictly to the procedures guided by the Provincial Youth Union.
This demonstrates maturity in Union work at Sao Mai Group – an organization that has operated stably for many years, always aligning youth movements with production–business tasks and the general orientation of the enterprise.

During the program, the Congress heard and discussed many important contents:

Political Report for the 2022–2025 term and directions for the new term

The Grassroots Union has maintained a routine of activities, effectively organizing Union activities suitable for the corporate environment, encouraging members to improve skills, working style, and sense of responsibility.
Volunteer activities, youth movements, study, and training have been maintained regularly.

Review Report of the Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the past term demonstrated a spirit of solidarity, striving to complete assigned tasks, ensuring Union activities took place according to principles.

Report summarizing contributions to the documents

The Congress acknowledged many constructive opinions reflecting the members' interest in the quality of the movement and the organization's development orientation.

Executive Committee Term I – The force leading the youth movement in the new period

According to the decision announced at the Congress, the Executive Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Grassroots Union for the 2025–2030 term have been designated.
The new Executive Committee debuted before the Congress, demonstrating unanimity and determination to promote the youth movement in a practical, creative direction, closely linked to the tasks of each unit within the Group.

In the acceptance speech, the Secretary of the Grassroots Union emphasized the direction:

- Consolidating branch union activities,

- Improving members' qualifications,

- Promoting the youth volunteer movement,

- Bringing youthful energy to actively participate in the Group's key programs.

Congress Resolution – Commitment to Innovation and Action

The Resolution for the 2025–2030 term was voted on and passed by the entire Congress with 100% consensus.
The Resolution sets out many key objectives:

- Building a team of union members with bravery, expertise, and a creative spirit.

- Innovating Union operation methods towards flexibility and modernity.

- Promoting youth emulation movements linked to the Group's development strategy.

- Strengthening social welfare activities, contributing positively to the community.

- Expanding skills training programs, improving the quality of young human resources.

The Congress was a great success – The beginning of a term full of expectations

The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union – Sao Mai Group Grassroots Union concluded with an exciting atmosphere and high unity.
Not only fulfilling the prescribed contents, the Congress also created strong motivation for Sao Mai youth to enter a new stage:
