SAO MAI GROUP COMMENCES WORK ON NEW URBAN AREA IN TRIEU SON DISTRICT

On December 28, 2023, Sao Mai Group collaborated with Trieu Son District to hold a groundbreaking ceremony of Sao Mai new urban area project in Minh Son Commune, Trieu Son Town, Trieu Son District, Thanh Hoa Province.

The ceremony featured the participation of Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, member of the provincial Party’s Standing Committee, head of the Mass Mobilization Commission, chair of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Le Quang Hung, member of the provincial Party’s Standing Committee, head of the provincial Committee on Economy; Nguyen Quang Hai, member of provincial Party Committee, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and former officials of the province, department heads, officials of Trieu Son District and neighboring provinces and residents.

The project is built on nearly 50 hectares of land, with an investment cost of more than 1,000 billion VND. It comprises 1,313 plots of semi-detached houses, nearly 30 plots of villas and over 41 plots of shophouses, all for a population of over 10,000 residents. Work on the project will be expedited so that it could be completed in two years since the date of license. It is a high-class urban area which evidences Sao Mai Group’s commitments on investments in its homeland.

In addition, the project will include community facilities such as parks, sports areas, cultural centers, healthcare, education, and commercial centers. Within a 1-kilometer radius, the urban area will be conveniently connected to public amenities such as schools, hospitals, hotels, markets, and spiritual tourism sites. The investor plans to implement and put the urban area into operation within two years.

Along with the Sao Mai New Urban Area in Xuan Thinh Commune, this is the second project that Sao Mai Group has invested in within Trieu Son District. Once completed, the Sao Mai New Urban Area Project in Minh Son Commune and Trieu Son Town will contribute to accelerating the urbanization process in the district, alleviating the high population density pressure in the central area. The project will also help Trieu Son District achieve the advanced new rural standards by 2024, meet the criteria for a grade-IV urban area by 2025, and become a town before 2030, as set out in the goals of the Trieu Son District Party Committee and its people.

Mr. Le Xuan Que, Deputy General Director of Sao Mai Group, presented cement to Trieu Son town and the communes of Minh Son, Tho Dan, and Xuan Thinh.

Following the groundbreaking ceremony, human resources, equipment, and machinery are mobilized to commence work on the project.

At the ceremony, Sao Mai Group’s management handed over a board indicating a donation of 400 tons of cement to Trieu Son Town, Minh Son, Tho Dan and Xuan Thinh communes for the purpose of building new-style rural areas.
