SAO MAI GROUP PARTY COMMITTEE ORGANIZES MID-TERM REVIEW MEETING ON IMPLEMENTATION OF RESOLUTION OF THE FIFTH PARTY CONGRESS (TERM 2020-2025)

On September 20, 2023, the Sao Mai Group Party Committee held a mid-term conference to review and evaluate the implementation of the resolutions of the 5th Congress and the mid-year implementation of the Party Committee's resolutions in 2023.

In attendance at the conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises of An Giang Province, on behalf of the higher-level Party Committee, and Mr. Le Thanh Thuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Founding and Development Board of Sao Mai Group, Mr. Le Van Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of Sao Mai Group, and nearly 300 party members of the Group's Party Committee.

Mr. Le Thanh Thuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Founding and Development Board of Sao Mai Group, pledges to fulfill the Party Committee's tasks until the end of the term.

In the first half of the term, in implementing the resolutions of the 5th Party Congress, the Sao Mai Group Party Committee has demonstrated a comprehensive leadership role in directing the implementation of political tasks, production and business, party building, and the building of the political system, exceeding the targets set by the Party Congress resolution. Currently, Sao Mai has 16 member companies, a total of over 12,000 employees, and as of December 31, 2022, Sao Mai's total revenue reached over 37,914 billion VND, paid 230.87 billion VND in taxes, earned an after-tax profit of 2,239 billion VND, and contributed 55.24 billion VND to social welfare.

Currently, the Sao Mai Group Party Committee has nearly 300 party members and 9 subordinate branches. Among them, 2 members were awarded the 45-year Party Badge, 1 member received the 40-year Party Badge, and 2 members were awarded the 30-year Party Badge. The work of inspecting, supervising, and enforcing discipline within the Party at the branch and division levels has been fully implemented in accordance with regulations. Annually, the inspection of party members' adherence to Party regulations has achieved over 91%.

In the coming time, the Sao Mai Group Party Committee will continue to leverage its internal strengths, complete its production and business plans, and resolutely achieve its tasks until the end of the term. At the same time, it will enhance its leadership capacity and fighting strength, and build a clean and strong Party organization.

The conference took place successfully with the consensus and high agreement of the Party members of Sao Mai Group Party Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises of An Giang Province, commended and highly appreciated the activities of the Sao Mai Group Party Committee in the past half-term. At the same time, she expressed her confidence that the party members of Sao Mai Group would successfully carry out the tasks set out in the Resolution of the 5th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.
