On the afternoon of July 11th, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra Vinh Province, Le Van Han, along with leaders of relevant departments and agencies, had a working session with Sao Mai Group to discuss investment proposals in renewable energy, aquaculture, real estate, and tourism.

Sao Mai is a multi-industry economic group, established in 1997, with an annual revenue of over 10,000 billion VND and providing employment for over 12,000 workers. The Group has strengths in renewable energy, aquaculture, real estate, and tourism. Currently, Sao Mai Group has submitted a proposal to implement the Phase 2 of the V1-1 Wind Power Plant project and the No. 3 Wind Power Plant (at position V3-8) in Duyen Hai Town.
Mr. Le Thanh Thuan, Chairman of the Founding & Development Council of Sao Mai Group, said he is looking for investment opportunities in Tra Vinh province.
Le Thanh Thuan, Chairman of the Founding & Development Council of Sao Mai Group, said that after researching the province's investment attraction sectors and support policies, Sao Mai is eager to seek investment opportunities in Tra Vinh. In the near future, the Group will send a working team to study and survey some sectors in the province and is very much looking forward to receiving support from relevant departments and agencies. Mr. Le Thanh Thuan emphasized that the Group will strive to become a strategic investor in Tra Vinh in the coming time.
At the working session, leaders of provincial departments and agencies introduced the province's investment attraction projects; at the same time, suggesting some eco-tourism, resort, restaurant, and hotel projects suitable for the Group's investment orientation.

Chairman of the People's Committee Le Van Han welcomed the spirit and goodwill of Sao Mai Group for coming to explore and invest in Tra Vinh. At the same time, he provided more information about the socio-economic development, transportation infrastructure, and outstanding potentials and advantages of the province. He said that Tra Vinh is oriented to become a clean energy center of the Mekong Delta region. The province is also focusing on developing the marine economy with groups of industries: offshore and coastal industries; exploitation, aquaculture, and marine tourism. In the field of aquaculture, the province has a great strength in shrimp but has not yet invested in large-scale shrimp processing plants that meet export standards. The province's housing, tourism, and restaurant and hotel sectors also have a lot of potential and need to be invested in a more systematic and large-scale manner.

Chairman of the People's Committee Le Van Han expressed his desire to have the opportunity to cooperate with Sao Mai Group for future development. For the areas of interest of the Group, the Chairman of the People's Committee assigned relevant departments and agencies to be the focal point, maintaining contact to support enterprises in exploring and evaluating investment opportunities in the province.
