"Over 6,000 billion VND, and countless drops of sweat under the scorching sun of the borderlands. Sleepless nights to race against time, calloused and even bleeding hands and feet on desolate, rocky fields. Wounds that haven’t healed, yet we still had to grit our teeth and carry on... Such hardships trained us to be resilient, enduring, to create Safari An Hảo, contributing to the transformation of An Giang's tourism after the pandemic," the investor reminisced.
Safari An Hảo Solar Park
Located at the foot of Cấm Mountain, amidst lush greenery, the solar power plant combined with the An Hảo eco-tourism park, spanning over 150 hectares, emerges as a magical palace of light. It paints the majestic, sacred Thất Sơn mountain range into a fairy-tale land – An Hảo Wonderland.
A Land of Kindness
In the past, An Hảo commune, Tịnh Biên district, An Giang province, was marked as one of Vietnam's poorest areas with the "five nos": no land for farming, no electricity, no clean water, no paved roads, and no education for children. Poverty was inherited, with farmers abandoning fields, young people leaving the village, and in the dry season, the barren fields couldn’t even sustain weeds. No one would have imagined turning this land into a billion-dollar tourism destination.
An Hao Tourist Area warmly welcomes visitors
Yet, everything changed when the An Hảo Solar Power Plant was constructed, followed by the eco-tourism park investment. Hundreds of local workers gained stable employment, and those who had left to make a living now had the opportunity to return home.
Under the shimmering layers of solar panels, workers diligently created beauty in this once-difficult land. The stunning scenery of today has erased the poverty and gloom of this former semi-mountainous region. All the darkness has faded deep into memory. And soon, no one will remember the "endless silent nights" of the remote forests that once bound the hardships of many generations.
A New Life on An Hảo’s Sheep Hill
It’s a story of great difficulty, yet also one of pride and poetry, from the two-year journey to build the solar power plant. And today, a magnificent Solar Safari stretches at the foot of Cấm Mountain, embraced by clouds year-round.
The Magnetic An Hảo Safari
Recently, a group of Korean entrepreneurs chose the An Hảo Solar Park as their first check-in spot when "the skies reopened" after the long closure due to COVID.

They explored every corner: visiting Sheep Hill, paying respects at the "Buddha’s Hand" natural stone relic, enjoying the gentle breeze at Thiên Cảnh Lake, admiring the vast solar panel fields from the Water Tower, soaking in the fragrances of the five-colored flower park, and, most notably, staying until 6 p.m. to witness the sunset behind Cấm Mountain. At that moment, the An Hảo Solar Park exuded a mysterious spiritual energy that no one could explain.
Paying Homage to the "Buddha’s Hand"
The Korean business delegation consisted of 15 members, including presidents and CEOs of high-tech conglomerates. They came to An Giang seeking investment opportunities. They were deeply impressed by the unparalleled beauty of solar tourism. It wasn’t just the majesty of the Thất Sơn region’s nature, but also the thoughtful use of solar resources, embodying the vision, mindset, and heart of the investor who brought clean energy technology to this place. More than anything, it was the strength of a Vietnamese corporation with endurance, foresight, and the ability to persevere through the pandemic. The Korean entrepreneurs were full of admiration for the journey of investing in the solar power plant combined with unique eco-tourism.
Korean Investors Impressed by An Hảo’s Sunset
What makes the solar farm special is not just the power generation but the clever integration with tourism. Safari Solar Farm An Hảo fosters and breathes life into the local heritage and natural wonders, increasing appropriate investments in infrastructure and service systems. The An Hảo Solar Farm has contributed to the economic, political, and social stability of the southwestern border area. This was the mission the investor aimed for, and they succeeded. Only that group could have pulled it off.
